Bio

Dr. Beissel is Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Dr. Beissel has been very active in anesthesia organizational leadership, serving as the Missouri Association of Nurse Anesthetists Internet Representative, Regional Director, Vice President, President-Elect, and President.  Service to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists includes membership in the State Organizational Development Committee, the Government Relations Committee, and member of the professional practice work group on pain management. Dr. Service to the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists includes writing simulation and multiple choice items for the Non-Surgical Pain Management Certification Exam and vetting the items for this exam.  Dr. Beissel is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management and an American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Foundation Doctoral Fellow. 

In addition to the listed experience, Dr. Beissel has experience in EMTwork, Rehabilitation Long Term Care Nursing, PICC Line Placement, Step Down Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, Emergency Nursing, Pediatric Emergency Nursing, Pediatric Asthma Camp Nursing, Fluoroscopy Guided Procedures and Ultrasound Guided Procedures.
