Len Hightower, Ph.D.

Dr. Hightower currently serves as assistant professor School of Education.  He is part of the Core Planning Team for the Ed.D. program in Organizational Leadership.  He teaches courses in Decision Making, Organizational Theory and Development, Leadership, Organizational Change and the Dissertation process.  He has over 20 years of experience serving in senior leadership positions at institutions of higher education and consulting leading a number of institutions through comprehensive transformational change processes.  Dr. Hightower has served as chief planning, enrollment, and student affairs officer.  He has designed and directed numerous applied institutional and market research efforts over the years.  He also has taught at the Doctorate, Masters, and Bachelors level as an adjunct for over 25 years.  His area of focus in teaching has been on organizational change, leadership and marketing.  A major influence on his approach to organizational change is Peter Drucker, one of the leaders in the formation of modern management, whom he studied with while a student at Claremont Graduate University.
