Margaret Moodian
Bio

Dr. Margaret Moodian, a tutorial assistant professor of humanities and social sciences, has served as a faculty member for the Chapman University System since 2011.

Margaret serves on the boards of directors for the Blind Children’s Learning Center, where she is governance chair, and Tias Arms, a nonprofit that assists abandoned children affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa. Additionally, she is president of Pepperdine University’s Orange County alumni association and a Chapman University Alumni Association board member. Margaret is a blogger for the Huffington Post, a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster youth, and a Delta Gamma PRO, which means she speaks to Delta Gammas and other members of the Greek community around the country about topics such as leadership and self-esteem.

Margaret earned a doctorate degree in education and master’s degree in psychology from Pepperdine University, and a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Chapman University. Her dissertation focused on the leadership traits of female Fortune 1,000 board members.
