Bio

Ms. Choudhury has years of experience in faculty development, curriculum, and instruction for baccalaureate nursing education programs. In these positions, she collaborated with faculty and academic leadership to promote nursing education innovation. She contributed to the institution’s national initiatives including curriculum standardization and evaluation, course design and development, and general education competencies alignment for enhancing the nursing program outcomes. Ms. Choudhury has over 10 years of academic and clinical teaching experiences. She has presented at various national and international conferences on various nursing education topics including use of analytic rubrics, genetics/genomics in nursing, and blended learning course design. She is currently serving in the Leadership Succession Committee for the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is a member of the Fair Testing Committee and the Nominations Committee for the National League for Nursing.  Her professional interests include nursing research and serving in professional nursing organizations to facilitate nursing education reform and innovation, as well as to enhance nursing practice that meets the changing needs of healthcare.
