Brandman University has been serving the needs of active military personnel since it was founded over 60 years ago. We are continuously expanding our network to provide you with the best support programs that help you succeed both in uniform and in the classroom.
Air Force: AU-ABC
The Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative Program (AU-ABC) is an initiative between Air University and Brandman University to offer baccalaureate degree opportunities to enlisted Air Force personnel with a completed Associate degree from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF).
Air Force: GEM
The General Education Mobile (GEM) program is a partnership between the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and Brandman University to deliver general education coursework required for the CCAF degree. The program includes online courses from each of the following disciplines: oral communication, written communication, mathematics, social sciences, and humanities that meet the CCAF’s pre-approved general education requirements.
ArmyIgnitED / Army COOL Program
Active Duty Army, Army Reserve, and National Guard personnel are eligible for up to $4,000 of financial assistance from the Army Credentialing Assistance Program, which is part of the Army Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (COOL) service.
- Obtain an industry-recognized certification that shows you are an expert who can successfully perform the key job requirements in your field and anywhere the military life takes you.
- Enhance your skills, either in your current MOS, or in an occupation you would like to pursue when you leave military service.
- Online programs can be accessed anywhere, anytime
Troops to Teachers
Brandman University is an active partner with Troops to Teachers, a U.S. Department of Education and Department of Defense program that helps eligible military personnel transition to a career as a public school teacher. The skills, knowledge, and experience one gains in the military are highly valued in our public schools.
Tuition Assistance Program
The Tuition Assistance Program is available to active duty, National Guard and Reserve Component service members. TA will pay $250 per credit hour. Your service branch pays your tuition directly to the school.
Please check with an education counselor for the specifics involving TA by visiting your local installation education office or going online to a virtual education center. Top-Up is available for those who qualify with their VA benefits. Beginning Fall 2020, the CBE (MyPath) programs are approved for Tuition Assistance.
