Q: Are academic resources included in the program?

A: Books and study materials are provided to MyPath students, at no additional cost. Academic coaches and tutorial faculty provide additional support. Students also have access to the Leatherby Library, as well as math and writing tutors.

Q: What are digital badges?

A: You’ve earned degrees and certificates and compiled letters of recommendations and awards. But, are you really showcasing all of your skills to employers and beyond? Digital badges are a tool that allows you to

  • Display and store achievements electronically stored electronically.
  • Streamline the tracking of your professional development.
  • Network online and share your credit on social networks like Linkedin.

    Q: How Do I Earn Badges?

    A: Each badge represents a compilation of specific competencies. Completion of all of the required competencies unlocks the digital badge. See Brandman’s badges for a complete list.

Brandman MyPath allows you to earn and display badges that are authenticated and backed by real experience.

    Q: How do employers verify my badge achievements?

    A: Digital badges are valuable, not only to you but employers. Authenticating this value is important. That’s why Brandman University has partnered with Credly, a badging platform provider, to verify, store and display your badges. Once you earn your badges, you can create an account at Credly.com. Credly allows you to access your badges any time and control which ones are made public.

    Q: How much will it cost to complete my Bachelor’s degree?

    A: Brandman’s MyPath competency-based bachelor's programs cost $5,400 per CBE Academic Year consisting of two billing periods of $2,700 each. The first billing period begins when the student starts their competencies and ends when the student has completed a minimum of 12 credits and 24 weeks of instruction. The second billing period begins after the first period is over and ends when the student has completed a minimum of 24 credits and 48 weeks of instruction.

    Tuition is all inclusive, providing access to digital textbooks, competency study materials and Chapman University’s Leatherby Library. You may also take advantage of complementary services offered through Brandman’s online writing, math and career services communities.
