If child abuse is left untreated, it can have negative impacts on an individual’s lifelong wellbeing. Learn screening and early intervention strategies to effectively provide services the child and family need to enhance their protective factors. In this webinar, participants will learn the requirements and protections of the California Child Abuse & Neglect Reporting Act. Gain best practices for assessing adverse childhood experiences. This webinar is eligible for 1 CE Credit from the BBS.

  • Understand the 4 types of child abuse (sexual, physical, emotional, and neglect)
  • Assess for adverse childhood experience (ACE)
  • Review limits of confidentiality and reporting mandate for child abuse
