"Whenever you’re trying to build a positive, productive relationship with anybody, you have to look at it from their point of view. And that’s particularly true with your boss because your boss does control a lot of things that affect you at work.” -Marie McIntyre

For the most part, employees expect to take direction from their supervisor. Managing Up approaches this relationship a little differently. It refers to doing whatever you can to make your supervisor’s job easier by essentially managing your manager. In this webinar, participants will learn how to create and extend their organizational influence by consistently making positive choices when dealing with their supervisor.

In this webinar you will learn how to:

  • Define managing up in the workplace
  • Identify factors that build organizational influence
  • Discuss how to improve the leader/follower relationship

This live webinar is FREE and open to the public.

By attending a live webinar you will earn 1 SHRM or HRCI re-certification credit.
