The suicide rate in the United States is continuing to increase year-over-year. As providers, it is essential to understand how to properly assess suicide risk and associated factors in order to engage in direct conversations with clients. In this webinar, participants will gain strategies for intervention, suicide management, and prevention. This webinar is eligible for 1 CE Credit.

- Identify factors involved with suicide risk and recognize factors that increase overall risk as well as mitigate risk
- Recognize relevant California state and federal laws that pertain to suicide/harm to self
- Explain relevant information on the necessity of initial assessment, monitoring, and re-assessment of suicide risk
- Summarize the strategies presented that focus on therapeutic interventions primary prevention of suicide

To earn 1 CE credit, participants must attend the live webinar or watch the recording, then register and successfully complete a multiple-choice assessment and evaluation to receive a certificate of completion.
