Commencements: JBLM, Lemoore campuses honor grads, Southern Commencement Sunday
Brandman University’s multiple commencement ceremonies continued last week with ceremonies at Naval Air Station Lemoore in California and Joint Base Fort Lewis–McChord Air Force Base (JBLM) in Washington.
At Brandman, degrees are awarded as students complete their requirements. Since the start of the 2016-17 academic year, 1,542 students have earned an associate, bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree. Students from throughout the academic year are invited to walk in commencement ceremonies, including those scheduled to complete their work by the end of the Summer 2 session in August.
The JBLM campuses have seen 53 students complete their degree work so far this year. At Lemoore, 24 students can call themselves alumni of Brandman University.
Commencements continue on Sunday, May 21, with two ceremonies at Chapman University. The School of Business and Professional Studies and the School of Education ceremonies begin at 4:30 p.m. The School of Nursing and Health Professions and School of Arts and Sciences ceremony begins at 7 p.m. Details are available here: https://www.brandman.edu/commencement/dates-locations/southern-california-commencement
Special hooding ceremonies for those earning Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degrees will be held earlier on Sunday, May 21, at the Anaheim Marriott.
