University receives Award of Excellence from Association of the Army’s sixth region
Margo Deegan, director of the Lacey campus, accepted an award on behalf of the university for “exceptional contribution” from the Association of The United States Army Sixth Region in April. The award made special note of the contributions of the Lacey campus and Joint Base Lewis–McChord in supporting the 1-2 Striker Brigade Combat Team and 1-17 Field Artillery Brigade with financial support for Organizational Days, Family Fun Nights, Transitioning Soldier Workshops and special holiday events such as Operation Turkey Drop and Operation Ham Grenade.
“Brandman University’s outstanding support of soldiers and their families reflects great credit upon the university, the city of Lacey and the Association of the United States Army,” read the award program.
