Spreading holiday cheer with door decorations

December 19, 2016 by Cindy O'Dell
Carmen Quinonez

Decorating their doors is one of the Irvine campus staff’s favorite traditions – a chance to spread a little holiday cheer while practicing a little friendly competition. This year’s winning door by Carmen Quinonez, an Irvine academic advisor, started as an attempt to poke a little fun at the “ugly” Christmas or holiday sweater. But Quinonez says she had so much fun designing the sweaters, she ended up wishing she had made them for real.

Other doors included tributes to Raiders football, Hawaii and the ubiquitous Elf on a Shelf.
