Annica Meza Dawe, Corporate and Community Relations manager for the Palm Desert campus, and Dr. Cheryl Sjostrom, director of Clinical Services for the Brandman University, attended the “Stan and Carolyn Little Early Childhood Conference for early childhood educators earlier this month. Sjostrom conducted a workshop “Technology and play: Play and the iPad” which tied into the conference theme focusing on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education.  Dawe said the talk was well-attended and drew numerous accolades from the participants.

Other workshop topics included nutrition and wellness and developing leadership skills. The conference was held at the College of the Desert campus in Palm Desert, California.
