Alysia Shelton said her 10 years of military experience and her Brandman University coursework in organizational leadership helped her launch her first business in Olympia, Washington. Her story and her tea shop, Tea Rations, are the subjects of  a story by The Olympian reporter Rolf Boone,  “You’ve heard of C rations: Now, try Tea Rations.”

Her shop features custom-blended loose leaf tea.

Shelton is working toward her B.A. in organizational leadership in the School of Business and Professional Studies at the Lacey campus.
