California Teachers Summit 2016 coming to four Brandman campuses

California Teachers SummitTeachers from throughout California will gather for the second Better Together: California Teachers Summit on July 29. Four Brandman campuses are among the 40 locations hosting the event. Walnut Creek and Modesto campuses are hosting for the first time, joining returning hosts Irvine and Visalia.

The summit for PreK-12 teachers, teacher candidates, school administrators and other educators features TED-style EdTalks and EdCamp discussions where participants can share ideas and discuss timely topics such as the California Standards for language and math and Next Generation Science Standards. Local educators lead the talks and discussions at each location. The Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities (AICCU), the California State University (CSU), and New Teacher Center (NTC) are event partners.
