Chapman’s Struppa to be keynote speaker for Brandman Taste of Immersion
Daniele Struppa, who becomes Chapman University’s 13th president at the end of August, will be the keynote speaker for the Taste of Immersion presented by Brandman University’s School of Education. Brandman University Chancellor Gary Brahm and School of Education Dean Christine Zeppos made the announcement.
The Taste of Immersion from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. June 26 introduces potential students to Brandman’s doctor of education (Ed.D.) in organizational leadership program. Reservations are required and the program is geared toward those interested in beginning work toward an advanced degree in Fall 2017.
Struppa is the chancellor of Chapman University and will discuss his career path “From Professor to Administrator: A personal journey through pitfalls, challenges and successes.” Chapman’s Board of Trustees named Struppa as “president designate” in May 2014 to create a smooth transition from Chapman President Jim Doti’s leadership to his.
Also at Taste of Immersion, ambassadors will be on hand to introduce Ed.D. students, faculty and cohort mentors and visitors can attend the Transformational Change Symposium and learn about Ed.D. student experiences leading change.
Reservations are due June 10 and more information are available by contacting Deann Avila at 949-341-9947 or 866-685-8794 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
