Academic Advisor Mary Rockwell leads a workshop on “Planning Your Teaching Career” at the Education Job Fair.

More than 40 participants learned about teaching and other school district jobs from the nine school districts serving the Antelope Valley at the job fair hosted by Brandman University’s Antelope Valley campus on May 17.

In addition to learning about potential careers, participants learned how they could continue their education at Brandman while working full time, said Norma Contreras, campus director. Other staff members participating in the event were Mary Rockwell, academic advisor;  Tiana Taylor, the campus One Stop specialist; and Jane Uhazy, assistant director of advising and retention.
