Teacher credentialing commission appoints Enomoto to design team
Dr. Alan Enomoto, associate professor of education at Brandman University, begins serving on the Administrator Performance Assessment Design Team for the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) in May. The CTC received more than 70 applications from administrator educators, administrators and teachers from throughout California to serve on the newly appointed panel.
“You and the APA Design Team members were selected for your expertise and experience,” wrote Mary Vixie Sandy, executive director of the CTC. The team will design and develop a process for the commission’s model administrator performance assessment. The work includes developing tasks and scoring systems, designing and implementing pilot and field tests and creating materials for candidates and programs, as well as determining standards.
Enomoto teaches at the Walnut Creek campus. He helped develop the Master of Arts in educational leadership and administration (M.A.-ELA) offered at Brandman.
