New Benicia High School principal has Brandman connection
Brianna Kleinschmidt, who received her teaching credential and administrative credential from Brandman University’s School of Education, is the new principal of Benicia High School in Benicia, California. She previously served as vice principal.
Kleinschmidt received her single subject teaching credential in 2010 and her administrative credential in 2014. She has a B.A. from U.C. San Diego and an M.A. in English from San Francisco State University.
“I saw a real need for not just a principal but a principal that would provide some stability of leadership and be here for a long time because I know there’s been some turnover at the principal position. I really wanted to continue to help Benicia High School grow and move in the direction that we’re headed in now and do so in a way that we would continue for many years to come,” Kleinschmidt is quoted as saying in a Benicia Herald report. She is a 1997 graduate of Benicia High.
