Let Meditation Mend You by Estella Chavous and Jacinta Chavous-KambachDoctoral candidate and Miss Egypt 2015 in the Queen of the Universe Pageant, Jacinta Chavous-Kambach, and her mother, Dr. Estella Chavous, collaborated to write “Let Meditation Mend You.” Amazon.com released a downloadable version  of the book in December. A print version will be available later this month.

Chavous was a member of Brandman University’s first doctor of education (Ed.D.) class and earned her degree in organizational leadership in 2015. She teaches organizational leadership and marketing classes in Irvine and online.

Chavous-Kambach is working on her dissertation in the Ed.D. program and expects to graduate this year. She teaches organizational leadership classes online.

The book is based on their doctoral research and stories drawn from their lives.

“This is positive affirmation that a doctorate affords you great things. Keep plugging,” wrote Chavous in announcing the book’s publication.
