Venita Campagna worked hard her entire adult life, building a career as an executive assistant. She earned an associate degree, but never felt the need to complete a bachelor’s degree because her career thrived with experience. After she and her husband retired, life took an unexpected turn. Now a widow, medical costs of his battle with cancer drained their life savings, and she was suddenly forced to return to the workforce. Realizing that a bachelor’s degree was going to be necessary in order to make above minimum wage, she turned to Brandman University and is on the path to her degree thanks to the revolutionary new MyPath, a competency-based education platform. She’s also proving that it is never too late to go back to college.
