Former School of Nursing student named chief nursing officer

Barbara Vazquez

Barbara Vazquez, who attended Brandman University’s Marybelle and S. Paul Musco School of Nursing and Health Professionals, is the new chief nursing officer at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida. She was previously chief executive officer at The Woodlands Specialty Hospital in Spring, Texas. Vazquez earned an associate degree in nursing from Miami-Dade College and a bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Phoenix. She was in the doctor of nurse practice program at Brandman.
