Student’s business venture focus of Ferber’s UCLA visit

Dr. Deborah Ferber, an assistant professor in the School of business and Professional Studies, headed to UCLA’s business school this summer as part of her work with Tech Coast Angels. She spoke on behalf of a Chapman University student she mentors. His business venture is www.grandPad.net, a secure tablet designed for grandparents to connect with their grandchildren.

Ferber talked about the patent-pending process, cash flow, target markets and low cash burn rate.

Ferber does community outreach on behalf of Brandman University for the Leatherby Center at Chapman University.
