UFC fighter earns master’s from Brandman, wins teaching position

CodyGIbsonCody Gibson, best known as a UFC fighter, will be taking on a second full-time role later in August. His dual careers were featured in a story in the Visalia Times-Delta.

Now that he’s earned his teaching credential and a master’s in education at Brandman University’s Visalia campus, 27-year-old Gibson will begin teaching history in the Woodlake Unified School District. He plans to continue training for UFC fights, according to the Times-Delta story published on July 22.

His next fight is likely to be in September or October.
