Brandman University announces Move Up Scholarship
Undergraduate students pursuing a bachelor’s degree can receive up to $6,000 in scholarship funds towards tuition from Brandman University, the nonprofit institution has announced. It is part of the Chapman University System.
“Brandman University is focused on helping students move up in both their personal and professional lives by investing in their education,” said Brandman University Chancellor Gary Brahm. “We expect to dedicate about $6 million to assist undergraduate students in achieving their bachelor’s degrees through this scholarship program.”
The university commitment to providing access to an affordable degree program is also evident in the undergraduate tuition freeze first enacted four years ago, Brahm said. “Our nonprofit mission is to provide a quality education that creates a lasting value for graduates,” he said.
For the fourth consecutive year, tuition for all bachelor’s degree courses will remain at the same levels for the 2015-16 academic year.
“We want to continue to demonstrate our commitment to leading the evolution of adult learning. It is important that we recognize the challenges our students face in pursuit of higher education within the current economic climate,” Brahm added.
The Move Up Scholarship is uniquely designed to reward students for their hard work by covering the cost of the final four classes leading up to graduation. It applies to fully-online as well as on-campus bachelor’s degree programs available at over 26 locations throughout California and Washington. All new undergraduate students and re-admitted students who have not attended Brandman within the last two years are eligible. For more information visit https://www.brandman.edu/moveupscholarship
