School of Education Advisory Board members honored
Marc Ecker and Arthur “Skip” Roland, both members of the School of Education Advisory Board, were honored last week by the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region 17 at their annual Celebration of Excellence.
Ecker, a past president of ACSA, is the retired superintendent of Fountain Valley School District. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Roland is also an Irvine cohort mentor for the School of Education and the retired superintendent of Brea Olinda School District. He received the Tracey Gaffey Award, which is given for excellence in mentoring.
Brandman University was recognized for its partnership efforts on behalf of the organization. Diana Cabori, senior manager of Corporate and Community Relations, accepted a plate engraved with student artwork on behalf of the university.
