Commencement

Commencement season begins in Washington

May 10, 2015 by Guest Contributor

Caps, gowns, tassels, smiles and even a few tears marked the beginning of the 2015 commencement season last week at Brandman University military locations Whidbey Island, Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Naval Base Kitsap Bangor, and the civilian campus at Lacey, Washington.

Dr. Glenn Worthington, dean of the School of Business and Professional Studies, conferred the degrees at each ceremony. Also attending each of the four ceremonies as the commencement speaker was Dr. Rowlanda Cawthon, one of the first graduates from the Brandman Doctor of Education in organizational leadership (Ed.D.) program. She encouraged graduates to continue climbing the mountains of achievement throughout their lives. The Brandman video news crew was there for all of the ceremonies. See the stories below.
