Collaborative grant goals have positive impact on Brandman programs

April 30, 2015 by Cindy O'Dell

Large Blog ImageDr. Lynn Larsen, associate dean in the School of Education, recently presented information about Brandman University’s Collaboration¬†for Effective Educator Development, Accountability and Reform (CEEDAR) grant at the Council for Exceptional Children’s national conference in San Diego. She spoke about how collaborative efforts by the Brandman faculty allowed them to meet the first two goals of their CEEDAR work: develop a School of Education vision statement for meeting the needs of all learners and incorporate appropriate content about students with disabilities in the new preliminary administrative services credential program.

The third goal of the grant is to develop a merged general and special education credential program. Professional development on that goal will begin at the May faculty meeting in Irvine.
