What’s on your desk? Kip Dean

Brandman University One Stop specialist Kip Dean

Just about the only thing missing from the map behind Kip Dean’s desk is sign that should say “Oh, the places you’ve been!” The world map has markers for each of the 40 or so countries the One Stop specialist for online students has visited.

MapCloseupDean, who has worked in the Irvine office of Brandman for six months, saw much of the United States while traveling on summer vacation with his parents who were teachers. A six-year stint in the Navy added stops in Japan, Hawaii, India and the Persian Gulf. An internship with State Department took him to Armenia and other trips added most of the rest of Europe. Still to come? Africa and Antarctica.

“Every place is different,” he said.
