Adjunct professor Derek Podobas told a standing room only crowd that shifting their patterns of thinking from static to dynamic and using business intelligence as a counterweight to guessing to make decisions within organizations will have a profoundly positive impact on their personal and professional success. Podobas is a principal researcher at Regents Park Institute as well as a faculty member in the math department.

The March event in Irvine was hosted by Cathy Margolin, associate dean in the School of Business and Professional Studies and adviser for the Business Society.

The next meeting will be April 16 at 5:45 p.m. Patrick Lily will talk about entrepreneurship in Room 111 in Irvine. The event is free and open to all.
