Hard work rewarded: More options for Arts & Sciences students
The School of Arts and Sciences at Brandman University launched a variety of new programs in 2014.
“Thanks to the hard work of faculty and staff, the School of Arts & Sciences had a very productive year in 2014, launching new or enhanced programs in criminal justice and liberal studies, as well as the innovative general education curriculum in the pilot competency-based B.B.A. program. Congratulations to the many Arts & Sciences alumni who completed their associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees in 2014!” – Dean Jeremy Korr
Here’s the school’s list of accomplishments as highlighted by the Chancellor Gary Brahm during his State of the University address to Brandman’s faculty and staff:
- Launched a security services concentration in B.A. Criminal Justice
- Launched an integrated credential emphasis in B.A. Liberal Studies in conjunction with the School of Education
- Launched general education components as part of Competency Based Education modality with School of Business & Professional Studies
- Launched a dual credit pilot with School of Extended Education
“It’s wonderful to see so much cooperation between schools,” said Brahm.
