What can I do with a degree in organizational leadership?

May 01, 2017 by Guest Contributor

All organizations, whether public or private, military or civilian, for-profit or nonprofit rely on leadership to accomplish goals. Organizations are in need of new leaders to help update and refine their processes, structures and technologies to achieve greater levels of quality, effectiveness, efficiency and flexibility.

The Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership program focuses on understanding the skills and knowledge necessary through a comprehensive curriculum of communications, accounting, marketing, human resources, economics, critical inquiry, organizational behavior, ethics, team building, understanding of finance, and leadership.

The Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership program prepares students to take full advantage of leadership positions within their organizations, enabling them to make powerful and positive differences in the workforce.

Because of its interdisciplinary nature, the program can be customized with electives in human resources, health administration, education, psychology and criminal justice. It is particularly tailored to the mid-career professional looking to develop the conceptual skills needed to emphasize organizational excellence.
