Brandman University Fairfield campus preparing for April move
Brandman University’s Fairfield campus is relocating to 2450 Martin Road, Fairfield, California. No classes will be affected, but the office will be closed starting Friday, April 6, and reopen on Tuesday, April 10, at the new location. Academic advisors and One Stop specialists will be reachable by phone at the Travis Air Force Base campus on April 6.
The new campus is in the Martin Plaza, situated in the heart of Solano County. Among the benefits to the new location are better freeway access, abundant parking and improved spaces for students, faculty and staff.
The office is across Martin Road from the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District offices, one of the university’s partner organizations.
“Most of our students have been credential students or educators,” said Linda Montenegro, campus director. “This makes it very convenient for them.”
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house will be Tuesday, June 5, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. It’s co-sponsored by the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce and the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce.
The first Fairfield campus opened in 1988 when Brandman University was known as Chapman University College. Classes in Solano County were first offered in 1972 at Travis AFB.
