Adjunct faculty member appearing on ‘Wheel of Fortune’
“Wheel of Fortune” viewers can see adjunct faculty member Len Legotte, who teaches online and at the San Diego campus of Brandman University, compete on Tuesday, Jan. 5. The program will air at 7:30 p.m. on KABC/Los Angeles and at 7 p.m. on NBC/7 in San Diego.
Legotte has been teaching accounting and finance courses for the past four years including financial statement analysis, business finance and, at the graduate level, financial reporting and analysis and data analysis for decision-making. He’s also taught at the Irvine campus and will teach there again in 2016.
The Jan. 5 show was taped in Culver City on Dec. 2, but getting there was a multiyear journey for Legotte.
“I first attended three Wheelmobile events at various Westfield Mall locations in San Diego,” wrote Legotte. The Wheelmobile is a tour bus that travels around the country and stops in San Diego about every two to three years. For those interested being on the program, it will be in the San Diego area again on Feb. 28.
Legotte later attended auditions in San Diego and finally in Culver City.
