Brandman University Fairfield hosting Autism event April 25

A community conversation on autism led by two Brandman University professors will be held Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to noon at the university’s Fairfield campus, 4820 Business Center Drive, Suite 100, Fairfield.

April is Autism Awareness month, and Isa Ribadu, assistant professor of psychology, and Anne Spillane, assistant professor of special education, will lead a discussion about diagnostic criteria and the support services available in the area.

An information session about Brandman University and its psychology and education programs will follow the event. Courses leading to a Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and Master of Arts degrees in psychology, marriage and family therapy, education and special education are offered at the Fairfield campus. There is also a teaching credential program.
