Newest Woodland police lieutenant is Brandman grad
Aaron Delao, who received his master’s degree in organizational leadership (M.A.O.L.) from Brandman University’s online campus, was among those promoted this week by the Woodland, California, Police Department, according to a story in the Woodland Daily Democrat.
Delao attended schools in Yuba County before receiving an associate of arts degree in liberal arts from Yuba Community College. He attended and received his Bachelor of Arts in history at Sacramento State before earning his Brandman University degree and a graduate certificate in human resource development. He joined the Woodland department in 1998 after a year as a reserve officer with the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office, working as a field training officer, as a member of the Gang Violence Suppression Unit and serving on the FBI Safe Streets Task Force He served as a patrol sergeant before being promoted to lieutenant.
