Biography

Mrs. Moussa is a full-time Instructional Designer with Brandman University, Chapman University system. She has recently worked as the Director of the Arabic Program at University of San Diego and Instructional Design and technology integration consultant for the STARTALK Faculty Professional Development Program at Occidental College. She believes that her engaging, cultural-technological approach to teaching enables learners to acquire skills in a manner that keeps them engaged, motivated, and confident in their abilities to learn.
She has also taught as an Adjunct at the University of California San Diego Linguistics Language Program for about 7 years. In addition to consulting as the program manager for Advanced intensive immersive Arabic at San Diego State university, she worked as an Arabic Language Academic Consultant and secretary of the Board at LARC in SDSU.
She has researched, published and presented at several national and international conferences on the topic of technology integration in the curriculum and the implications of emerging technologies for education and language learning. She has been engaged in the iPad task Force at USD in addition to a variety of curriculum and technology integration projects at USD, UCSD, SDSU and other K-16 institutions in Southern California.
Randa has been giving a series of lectures and webinars for a variety of organizations and national and International conferences including ACTFL, UC Consortium, Arabic LEARN, SCALTC, CLTA, SALIN, British Council
